Product Care Guide

Product Care Guide

Proper care can help dresses maintain their shape, color, and appearance. Always follow the sewn-in care label, which takes priority over this general guide.

Before Washing

  • Read the care label.
  • Separate light, dark, and brightly colored items.
  • Close zippers, buttons, hooks, and fastenings.
  • Turn printed, embroidered, or embellished garments inside out.
  • Use a laundry bag for delicate items.

General Washing

  • Use cold or lukewarm water unless the label states otherwise.
  • Select a gentle or delicate cycle.
  • Use a mild detergent.
  • Avoid bleach unless specifically permitted.
  • Do not wash delicate dresses with heavy items such as towels or jeans.

Drying

  • Air dry delicate garments when possible.
  • Reshape garments while damp.
  • Lay knit or stretch items flat to dry.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and high heat.
  • Do not tumble dry unless the care label permits it.

Ironing and Steaming

  • Use low heat for delicate and synthetic fabrics.
  • Iron garments inside out when possible.
  • Do not iron directly over prints, sequins, beads, or embroidery.
  • Test heat on a hidden area first.

Storage

  • Store garments clean and completely dry.
  • Fold heavy knit dresses to reduce stretching.
  • Use breathable garment bags for delicate occasion dresses.
  • Keep clothing in a cool, dry, ventilated location.
